3D Printing

From prototypes for model verification to final production parts, 3D printing has opened up amazing new options for custom car builders to create one off parts with complex geometries that would require a significate amount of high skill man hours in your shop to come close to duplicating.

SLA Printing allows us to use a wide range of materials with properties that allow for final use parts with mechanical properties specific to your application. Tough resins result in parts similar to ABS and work great for interior or exterior parts. Flexible resins can be used to create interior parts to perfectly finish off your project. Clear resins are great for one off lenses for interior or exterior applications.

Your shop may already have a FDM 3D printer that creates parts from a spool of filament. We take that same idea and scale it up. We have two custom built printers in different large formats with custom cars in mind. For parts the full width of a car, our 8ft x 2ft x 2ft build volume printer is to print functional parts like spoilers, bumper covers, widebody kits, side skirts or even a full dashboard with integrated HVAC and electrical chases. Our 4ft x 4ft x 2ft printer can handle interior components like door and trim panels. Our upholstery clients love that we can 3D scan a stock or chopped roof and print complex corners to bridge together flat sections.
